Final match of the VIII Quadrangular Tournament
On May 31, the VIII Quadrangular Golf Tournament came to an end in an exciting fourth match at Club de Golf Terramar, who had the honor of hosting the final as the last club to join Sport Cultura Barcelona.
The accumulated total after the four games placed the Club de Golf Sant Cugat team as the winner with a total of 88.5 points, followed by Club de Golf Llavaneras with 68.5 points. In third place, Club de Golf Terramar added 67 points and Real Club de Golf El Prat came in fourth with 64 points.
On this occasion, the current circumstances allowed us to celebrate the traditional lunch with all the players, preceded by the delivery of the trophy to the winning team by the hand of Albert Agustí and Rocío de Aguilera, president and general secretary of our entity, respectively.
Antonio Banderas, Sport Cultura Barcelona 2019 award in Culture category
The actor Antonio Banderas, awarded with the Sport Cultura Barcelona 2019 award, in the Culture category, received the award on March 12th at the Teatro del Soho, in Malaga.
The Prize was given in person by: Albert Agustí, Chairman; Rocío de Aguilera, General Secretary, and Ramón Agenjo, member of the Assembly of the Entity and Patron Director of Damm.
Carlos Sainz received the 2019 Sport Cultura Barcelona Award, to Best Career 2019
The rally driver Carlos Sainz, received the Sport Cultura Barcelona 2019 award, in the category of Best Career. The award was presented by the President of Sport Cultura Barcelona, Albert Agustí. The Vice President of Sport Cultura Barcelona and President of the RACC, Josep Mateu, and the General Secretary of Sport Cultura Barcelona, Rocío de Aguilera, also attended the award ceremony.

After the award ceremony, which took place at the Carlos Sainz Sr. Indoor Karting, Albert Agustí, Josep Mateu and Rocío de Aguilera, had the opportunity to greet Carlos Sainz Jr., Formula 1 driver, who currently belongs to the team from Ferrari.
VISIT TO CREU ROJA CATALUNYA HEADQUARTERS
Because of the donation that Sport Cultura Barcelona gave to the Creu Roja, for its program to help Covid-19, the President of the Creu Roja in Catalonia, Josep Quitet, the Regional Secretary, Helena Fontanet and the Coordinator for Catalonia, Enric Moris, received at the headquarters of the NGO in Barcelona, Albert Agustí, President and Rocío de Aguilera, Secretary General of Sport Cultura Barcelona, also accompanied by Ramón Agenjo, Patron Director of the DAMM Foundation, partner of the Association.
During the meeting they learned about the operation of this humanitarian institution, with more than 155 history and the projects that are being carried out to be able to supply the most vulnerable groups in society, and that because of the Covid this lack has been accentuated and now more than ever it is necessary to cooperate with solidarity organizations.
Fundació Joan Miró
Sport Cultura Barcelona's new partner
Fundació Joan Miró, a centre for the study and dissemination of Joan Miró's work and contemporary art, has became member of Sport Cultura Barcelona and her chairman Sara Puig, is the representative in our Association.
The Fundació Joan Miró was created by Miró himself, at first principally with works from his own private collection, with a desire to set up an internationally recognised centre in Barcelona for Miró scholarship and contemporary art research, and to disseminate the collection.
The Fundació opened to the public on 10 June 1975 and has since become a dynamic centre in which Joan Miró’s work coexists with cutting-edge contemporary art.
XV edition of Sport Cultura Barcelona. Election of the winners Awards.
On January 29th, at the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona, the members of the Entity met to carry out the final vote of the finalist candidates of the XV edition of the Sport Cultura Barcelona Awards, to find out the 2019 winners in the three disciplines.
In the Sports category, the winner was the football player Leo Messi; in the Culture category, the Soho Theater of actor Antonio Banderas and in the Best Career category, the rally driver Carlos Sainz.
In addition, a Special Mention has been awarded to Josep Lluís Vilaseca, who was a member of the Board of the Spanish Olympic Committee, a member of the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Committee and the General Secretary for Sports of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
This initiative gives an award to a person or institution that has been relevant in the field of Culture and Sports, as well as the Best Career Award recognizes a person or entity for their professional career in any field.

CLUB DE GOLF TERRAMAR
The last member of 2019, who became part of Sport Cultura Barcelona, was the Terramar Golf Club and its president, Mr. José Maria Gassó, is the representative.
Sports, gastronomy, leisure and culture make Terramar a club with history and tradition.
Foment de les Arts i del Disseny
On October 28th, The Fostering Arts and Design became a collaborating partner of Sport Cultura Barcelona.
Its President, Mr. Jordi Montaña and the President of the Association, Mr. Albert Agustí signed the collaboration agreement between both entities.
Fostering Arts and Design is a non-profit association of professionals and businesses connected to design. They dedicate their resources in promoting creative culture, supporting new generations and stimulating excellence in product design, architecture, fashion, graphic design, visual communication, crafts and arts in general.
Support act for the Olympic candidacy Pyrenees Barcelona 2030
Sport Cultura Barcelona, organized the act to support the Pyrenees Barcelona 2030 olympic candidacy'', at the FC Barcelona Auditorium.
The event was divided into 6 blocks and had the participation of:
Javier Faus, chairman of Círculo de Economia who spoke about the economic sustainability of the project.
Josep Mateu, chairman of RACC, explained about the necessary infrastructures and mobility.
Alfred Rodríguez Picó, meteorologist, through graphics, taught the climate cycles.
Pilar Conesa, Congress Curator of the Smart City Expo World Congress and CEO of Amanteverti spoke about technological networks and the advantages they would bring.
Núria Pau, alpine skier make a brief intervention.
Rafael Vila-Sanjuan, policy and global director in ISGlobal, participated in the sociaty and culture block.
Eduard Cayón, chairman of Centre Excursionista de Catalunya, that is partner of Sport Cultura Barcelona, expressed the conclussions of the event and Alejandro Blanco, chairman of the Spanish Olympic Committee also participted and Juan Antonio Samaranch, vice president of the International Olypmc Committee as well, both highlighted the viability of the project and that the candidacy has the ability to prosper, but is very important policital unity and will to be able to carry it out.
